July 30, 2015(2 events) Whitby & District Lions 6th Annual Charity Beer Festival aims to raise money for various local charities and good causes that Whitby Lions support, as well as supporting Whitby Lions Disability Scooter Programme and the club’s efforts to raise awareness of diabetes. This year’s event will again be held at the Whitby Mission & Seafarers Centre, Haggersgate, for the second year running, after a very successful year in 2014. The festival is open from Thursday 30th July until Sunday 2nd August, celebrating some of the finest local and regional handcrafted real ales that are produced by a range of widely credited Micro Breweries.
