Join us for a fossil hunting trip along the southern part of Robin Hoods Bay. This event is suitable for all the family as the access is very easy. We do suggest wellies or stout footwear, but we supply everything else. Each trip is different, but we should find a wide range of fossils from the Jurassic, around 180 million years ago. Meet: In the car park at the top of the path down to Boggle Hole (please note there is no vehicle access beyond the car park towards the Youth Hostel). Tickets: Booking essential via Eventbrite website. Adults: £5 5 - 16yrs: £4 Under 5s: FREE Family Ticket (2 Adults & 3 children): £16 All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult Please note we reserve the right to close bookings when we believe a trip has reached full capacity, therefore the 'tickets available' number on Eventbrite is for guidance only, we will always ensure we have enough leaders on the day. Sorry but we can only offer refunds when we cancel a trip due to weather conditions or similar circumstances. The theme of this years' firework finale is entitled 'Ignite the Dark'. Vivid blue, aqua, purple, red and silver shells will look incredible over Whitby as the colours reflect on water. Reaching a height of 500 to 600 feet and bursting spectacularly in the sky. The display finale is named 'Red Fans' and is a tribute to the Red Arrows in their 50 Anniversary Year.
