August 3, 2015In 2012, Ted burst onto the silver screen to an unsuspecting audience and delighted film fans with his unique brand of bad bear behaviour. As he grows old disgracefully, his best mate John struggles to let go of childish things and saw his relationship with the beautiful Lori suffer as a result.
Ted 2 sees the next chapter in their enduring friendship and fans will be pleased to learn their antics are even more juvenile than ever. Will John let go of Ted and finally accept his responsibilities as a fully grown man, or will he succumb to the dark side and continue on a path littered with despair and destruction?
Ted (2012) took over £350m at the global box office, marking it a triumph for writer and director Seth MacFarlane, who also provides the voice of Ted. Mark Wahlberg (Transformers: Age of Extinction) returns alongside a new cast which includes Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables, Mamma Mia), Liam Neeson (Walk Among the Tombstones, Taken 3) and Morgan Freeman (The Lego Movie, Dolphin Tale 2).

August 4, 2015Whitby Amateur Dramatic Society Present ‘Caught In the Net’ by Ray Cooney
Bigamist taxi driver John Smith is keeping his two families in different parts of Leeds, both happy and blissfully unaware of each other. However, his teenage children, a girl from one family and a boy from the other, have met on the Internet and are anxious to meet in person since they have so much in common name, surname and taxi driving dad! Keeping them apart plunges John into a hell hole of his own making.
His lodger Stanley could be a saviour, but he is about to go on holiday with his decrepit old father who turns up thinking he is already at the guest house. The situation spirals out of control as John juggles outrageously with the truth.
